Will You Eat or Be Eaten?

It's a "dog eat dog" kind of world. At least that's what I learned at the Central Park Zoo. It closes at 5 PM sharp. At 4:52 a young man in a jump suit grabs the bunny and puts it in another house. at 4:52 you can see that everyone who works there just wants to go home, including the bunny.

Daddy: Emma is climbing in spider webs, eating ice cream cones and coming at life with full abandon!

Air Hockey

This was a swinging uptown party, with foose-ball, ice cream, air hockey, cup cakes. I love birthdays. Mine is coming soon. June, June, June.

Daddy: To survive multiple children's parties you have to enjoy cupcakes, pizza and chaos. I guess that's why I'm good at it. I think black and white cookies would be a welcome alternative to cup cakes. Just an idea.

Emma and Maddy are getting along great. Maddy was the youngest kid at the party. Aside from eating tiny figurines, she had a great time. Well, she probably enjoyed eating the tiny figurines.

Bowlmor

Bowling is fun. I like the scorers table and the heavy, heavy balls. I'd like to have my own heavy ball for my apartment.

Daddy: Birthday party chaperon to Bowlmor lanes in the East Village: There was pulsating top ten music (I'm guessing, was it was top 10?), giant video screens at the end of the lanes, neon dots lighting the alleys.
The visual overload made me long for the sad yellows, and quiet din of Bergenfield bowling, where you could really hear the balls with all the weight of a man's hopes slamming down upon the wooden floor.
