Coming Attractions

My dad turned 44. He's like a giant used car. He needs special fuels. His birthday was really fun. There was cake and presents. It felt like it was a preview for the big birthday, MINE!

Coming soon, Emma's b-day, featuring Danna Banana and kids from Room 716. It was fun sharing my cake with my two daughters, Emma and Maddy.

Generation Girls

Here we are,
a line of women.
Strong.
Smart.
Invincible.

Emma, Madeleine, Mommy Adina and Grand-Ma Renee have the upper hand. Daddy's key is to always remain calm, low key and stable, like the Cloisters. Yes, an old sanctuary, that's what I must become.

School Portrait

People have been requesting my school photo...here it is. Again, it was a difficult day for a photo, walking pneumonia, blurred vision, 2 percent of my normal energy capacity, and yet I still smiled. It shows at age 2 and 9 months you can transcend you're current state of weakness and despair to a stronger place.

I'm ordering a set of School Portrait coffee mugs ASAP.

Room 716

I had walking pnemonia the day this picture was taken. In fact, I didn't stay in school that day. I just went for the picture and came straight home. I'm a team player.

Well, Emma's first year of school has been a huge success. She is growing a Lima Bean tree. I took Emma and her budding tree home in a taxi today, to be replanted in New Jersey.

Dining room bike ride

Another fun thing about visiting Grand Ma Annie is I can ride my bike in the dining room, right by a giant piano. Bo ran away from me.

I was never a good bike rider. Once I was hit by a truck, another time I fell town a giant hill.

too much Mr. Bubbles

It seems the more bubble stuff you squeeze into the tub the more bubbles you get. "Too much bubbles" is what I got.

My fatigued wife blamed me for the excess bubbles. I couldn't really argue. Why didn't you just wash them up, those excess bubbles, Emma had squozen half the Mr. Bubble container out. And the answer was, I just couldn't waste bubbles, a testament to my upbringing.

I'm at Grand-ma Annies

I spent the night in Jersey with Grand-ma Annie and Ira. I had an awesome time. I'm ready for a Euro-rail pass. Highlights: slept in a sweater, late night bugs and Elmo video, sharing cereal with giant poodle, Bo.

Only 14 more years and Emma will be ready to go away to college, unless I can set up early admission to Columbia.

intensely alive

There's been a lot of talk about living in the present moment. I think it's a good idea.

Emma is insightful and practices what she pre
aches.
